| Scope: | Rooftop pyramid on the on fourth tallest high-rise building in Charlotte, NC, with exposed structural steel and a white ETFE sail fitted to the inner face. The entire pyramid had to be statically determinate which, along with high wind loads, called for relatively massive sliding bearings. |
