- Bridge engineer by his diploma, however already during his master studies in Paris he focused primarily on parametric modelling and optimization of complex envelopes and structures. Engineering of membrane structures of all kinds was only a logical extension of this focus. In 2019 together with American partners, he co-founded bpl-česko s.r.o.

- After his studies, he started out as an engineer of steel structures for energy industry worldwide (e.g. Chile, Vietnam, Poland). After that he broadened his portfolio by concrete and timber design, including mass timber and cross-laminated timber (CLT). Throughout his career, Boris gained experience in structural assessment and conversions of historical buildings - particularly in Prague, Czech Republic.
